Blog #29 - What is your favorite animated tv show (ex. The Simpsons) and why?  Find a link to an episode and attach it to your blog.

My favourite animated TV show is Naruto. It has alot of creativity, and it's funny. So it keeps me entertained. Most shows get boring afterwards because they're basically doing the same thing every episode. But Naruto changes because it's basically a timeline story type thing. Every episode is a new day.

Blog #27 - If you were stuck on a desert island and could have any three things with you, what would they be and why?

If I was stuck on a deserted island, and could only bring 3 items, I think I would bring, my best friend, because she's smart. :] and will keep me entertained. Psht, no, just kidding. I would bring a big thing of water, so I could portion it out only when I need it. I would also bring a bit of food. And something to keep me entertained.

Blog #26 – What movies are playing at the Galaxy right now? Which movie would you most like to go to and why? What is your favorite snack at the theatre?

The movies playing at the Galaxy are: Zombieland, The Invention Of Lying, The Surrogates, Fame, Trailer Park Boys: Countdown To Liqour Day, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs.

I think I would go and see The Invention of Lying, because it’s something that would catch my attention, because alot of people lie and its sort of my type of movie.  My favourite snack is the popcorn, but it usually costs alot of money, so me and my friends usually just bring our own food.

Youtube!

Blog #25 - Watch the following television advertisement on texting while driving: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K5NIE3osZEs.  What did you think about it?  Does it make you think twice about texting while driving?  (min. 5-6 sentences).

I thought this video was very brutal. It definately makes me think twice about texting and driving. I would rather live and enjoy life, then text while driving and kill two people that I care and love most. I kept thinking if that were me in the car, and if that was Jenn beside me, or Kaitlyn. I don't think I could live with myself if I was the cause of their death.

Blog #21 -(from Tyler) If you were to invent a computer, what would you call it and what color would you make it and why?

If I were to invent a computer, I would keep the name, because it rightfully fits into that name, because it stores information and so on. I would make the computer Any color people wanted, if they wanted it custom made as well.

Facebook.

Blog #20 - (from Zach) What impact has facebook had on your life and why?

Facebook hasn't really had an impact on my life, because it's just extra things to do, an easier way to get ahold of friends and family. It makes it easier to get ahold of my brother that lives in Winnipeg. If I didn't have facebook, it wouldn't affect me all that much.

NASA

Blog #19 – (from Taylor) How many years has NASA been using advanced technology?  Why is it important for NASA to have recent technology.

NASA has used advanced technology for over 50 years.

NASA needs advanced technology to warn people about upcoming weather reports that could lead to mass destruction of any kind. They are also trying to prevent global warming by designing a laser so they can measure the ozone and other greenhouse gasses.
